The Alexander Technique is designed to bring forth the grace, and balance innate in every human body. In this technique’s simple process, students of all ages and body types relearn unnecessary movement patterns which interfere with natural coordination. The result is a profound sense of belonging in the body, which lends ease to every day tasks, clarity to thinking, joy to sensations, and pleasure of movement.

Sessions in the Alexander Technique are appropriate for anyone wishing to experience increased flexibility, tone, fluidity, and expressiveness in everyday actions, as well as, specialized movements. The work is extremely helpful as a pain reduction and pain management technique with injuries do to stress, repetitive strain, and trauma. Singers, actors, dancers, and athletes frequently expand creative options and physical limitations through the work.

The Alexander Technique spans the gap between education and therapy, encouraging us to see ourselves as students of personal development rather than patients who need to be “fixed.”
